Welcome to

Join us on April 1st & 2nd, 2022!

Conference Theme

Today, thanks to rapid technological advancements, we are more connected than ever before. On the other hand, we face global challenges unprecedented in number, severity, and dimension. This presents us with two options. One is characterized by vicious competition and armed conflict for power and self-interest, which may well lead to the end. The other is to go with the tide of the times and rise to challenges through global collaboration, through "Convergence for Change," this year's theme. As the youth, the leaders of tomorrow, it is our duty to come together and be a voice of reason. Through the committees at DASMUN XIV, we hope to shed light on the need for this uniformity to create favorable conditions and a brighter future.

A Message from the Secretary-General

Dear prospective participants and advisors,

I am delighted to invite you to the 14th iteration of DASMUN, taking place on April 1st and 2nd, 2022. For the past fourteen years, DASMUN has provided delegates with a fulfilling conference, and we look forward to upholding this tradition of excellence this year. I am honored to serve as Secretary-General and am grateful to be working alongside a talented Executive Team that will stop at nothing to provide you with the best experience.

DASMUN aims to foster an environment where passionate students can engage in professional debate, diplomacy, and teamwork. With various topics that span geographical regions and time periods, delegates will be able to research historical disputes, investigate humanitarian crises, and work towards consensus on current international affairs that world leaders and policymakers continue to grapple with. Thus, whether you are a MUN newcomer or an experienced one, you are guaranteed to participate in a committee that will intrigue you over the conference weekend.

Despite the unprecedented challenges of the past year, we are committed to ensuring that all participants will not only have an unforgettable experience but be safe in the pursuit of one. On that note, the website will be regularly updated to reflect the latest conference procedures and policies.

We cannot wait to welcome you to our conference this April! In the meantime, please reach out to our Public Relations team at dasmunxiv@gmail.com with any and all questions or concerns.
